Now that the marathon is over and done it is time for the blog to change as well. As of now I have no plans to jump into any races soon. At least not anything over a 10k. The pain inflicted upon me during the marathon is still too fresh in my mind. For the past few weeks I have been really happy to get back to the kettle bell workouts. I have to say that I missed them while I tapered down in preparation for the marathon. It’s good to feel the soreness for a day or two after a good session. Nice to feel a little bit stronger. Being very fit as a runner gives a certain confidence, but it is different that the feeling from strength training. The topics the blog touches on will start to change. I will incorporate more nutrition, general fitness, stretching, things like that. Also, always feel free to offer feedback and ideas via Facebook.
